SAGINAW CO. -- Two suspects are in custody after a drug bust.
The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department and the Safe Streets Team received tips of drug activity at the home on the 1300 block of Sears Street in Saginaw.
Deputies issued a warrant for the home on Tuesday. Upon arrival, deputies found the two suspects, three pounds of marijuana, a gun, more than $2,500 and 100 Vicodin pills.
One of the suspects was attempting to flush the drugs down a toilet, but deputies were able to recover the evidence.
The suspects have an extensive criminal history. The man who rents the home currently has five outstanding warrants. The other suspect has two outstanding warrants.
Both suspects are currently lodged in the Saginaw County Jail while the investigation continues.
