KAWKAWLIN -- There is a major gas leak in the Kawkawlin area.
Dispatchers report Monitor Township and Kawkawlin fire departments are at the scene with a large gas main break over the Kawkawlin River on Huron Road (M-13) near Old Kawkawlin Road.
Traffic is shut down both north and south bound but is expected to open around 8 a.m. Friday.
