(AP) -- LANSING, Mich. - Customers at Michigan Secretary of State offices now have more credit card options to make their payments.
Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land announced this week all branches are accepting Discover and MasterCard payments at the counter. That option previously had been available only at select locations.
Visa cards are not accepted for transactions because of a corporate policy.
Land said the acceptance of credit cards has been expanded as part of an effort to create more options and make transactions more convenient for customers.
