Michigan blood centers struggle for donors during the 4th of July weekend.
That's why local centers invented the Faygo Float Challenge.
Blood donors selected a variety of Faygo pop, along with some Meijer ice cream, to vote which one is the best.
Both Faygo and Meijer are Michigan companies, which fits in perfectly with Michigan Blood's message.
Colleen Carty, spokesperson for Michigan Blood, says "Donors this week can come in and have a chance to register for a $100 Meijer giftcard as well as this month we're having a Pure Michigan promotion and they can register to win a package at Grand Traverse Resort."
The Faygo Float Challenge ends Monday, July 5th, at 7:00PM.
