(AP) -- Divers have found the body of a 58-year-old Livingston County man who disappeared in a lake after rescuing his 15-year-old son and the son's friend. Authorities say the two teens panicked after their pontoon drifted off as they swam Monday.
Police tell The Detroit News they found Dennis Regal's body Wednesday afternoon in Zukey Lake. It's in Hamburg Township, about 35 miles west of Detroit. Regal was one of at least four people to die in Michigan waters in recent days.
Sixteen-year-old Louis Barba of Detroit drowned Tuesday in Lake Erie off Sterling State Park. A 13-year-old boy drowned Monday in the Flat River in Montcalm County. And 26-year-old William Lott of Durand drowned Sunday in Lake Michigan off Oceana County.
