(AP) -- Police are continuing their search in the western Upper Peninsula for an armed man who fatally shot two men because he was jealous they'd been drinking with his girlfriend. Police say 54-year-old Steven J. Dianich fatally shot 46-year-old Scott Udd and 52-year-old Jon Lund on Saturday while the two were drinking at Udd's house. It's in Gogebic County's Bessemer Township, about 10 miles north of the Wisconsin state line.
Dianich's girlfriend had joined the men and then left. Police say Dianich later arrived and shot both men. Detective Sgt. Ken Walker says U.S. marshals are assisting with the statewide hunt, but Ramsay remains the primary search area. State police say Dianich remained at large early Thursday.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Michigan State Police at 906-224-9691.
