The Public Policy Committee of the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Citizens Bank, will host a "Meet the Candidates" networking event on July 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The event till take place in the lobby of Citizens Bank in downtown Flint. Hor d'oeuvres and light spirits will be provided. Parking is available in the flat lot of the James Rutherford parking ramp, located off Kearsley Street.
Gubernatorial, Attorney General and Secretary of State candidates have been invited, as well as area candidates running for state and federal positions. Those running for county-wide offices, board of commissioner, mayoral and judicial positions in Genesee County have been invited to participate.
Genesee County residents will have an opportunity to talk one-on-one with the candidates and learn their positions on matters that are important to the community.
A donation of $25 is requested. Proceeds support the Regional Chambers' Political Action Committee. Cash or personal checks will be accepted the night of the event.
