Fire that killed Kadric Johnson, 5, caused by stove

Investigators beleive the fire that killed a 5-year-old local boy was caused by a stove.

It's not clear if the stove malfunctioned or someone left it on.

Investigators combed through the remains of the Flint Township apartment today and will be back Friday.

The fire ripped through the Sunridge Apartments early Tuesday morning, taking the life of 5-year-old Kadric Johnson and destorying 14 units.

Since then, the American Red Cross in Flint has been helping victims with food, clothes and shelter.
