(AP) -- FLINT, Mich. - Flint's Knoblock Hardware isn't history, but it's selling pieces of it.
The store is holding what it's calling the Treasure Hunter's Garage Sale on Friday and Saturday. It will feature hundreds of items Knoblock has accumulated since opening, including Thermos brand items from the 1950s and vintage tools.
Owner Chris Corrigan tells The Flint Journal "the sale is 71 years in the making." He and employees cleaned out the basement and storage areas to unearth items for the sale.
Knoblock Hardware isn't going out of business, but Corrigan's son, Tim, says the store needs to make room for new inventory.
