The Summer Broadcast Blood Boost is taking place this week at the Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw.
Donations will be taken from Noon to 8 p.m. today through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
This year's event coincides with a high need for donations. There is a special need for the O negative blood type.
