Folks came together in Linden to raise money in honor of 4-year-old Dominick Calhoun.
They held a car wash at the Ace Hardware this weekend.
Dominick died in April after police say his mom's boyfriend, Brandon Hayes, brutally beat him.
Organizers say money raised will go to a domestic violence shelter and to help build an amphitheatre in Dominick's memory.
They plan another car wash next weekend near Linden's State Bank.
