14-year-old Rachel Smith of Birch Run is NBC25's Great Kid for the month of July.
Rachel spends her time helping others when she is not at school. She has been on several mission trips with her church in Bridgeport and also helps out with the Boys and Girls Club in Saginaw.
She says she enjoys working with kids, singing at church and is getting ready to volunteer at vacation bible school.
As NBC25's Great Kid of the Month, Rachel wins a one-night stay and four pack of passes to enjoy Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark at Boyne Mountain.
