Marine Corps Sgt. Brock A. Ottenbacher graduates from Combat Engineer Officer Course

Marine Corps Sgt. Brock A. Ottenbacher, son of Suzanne M. Woolley of North Branch, Mich. and Kenneth P. Ottenbacher, of Lapeer, Mich., recently graduated from the Combat Engineer Officer Course.

During the course conducted at Marine Corps Engineer School, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N. C., students receive instruction in basic and supervisory level operational and planning skills in engineering related subjects pertaining to mobility, countermobility, survivability, and general engineering. Upon completion of the course, students are qualified to perform tasks appropriate for a platoon commander.

Ottenbacher is a 2004 graduate of North Branch High School of North Branch, Mich. and joined the Marine Corps in August 2005.
