(AP) -- The deposition of ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick in a civil suit filed by the family of a slain Detroit stripper is expected to continue. Kilpatrick was expected to be brought Tuesday from a federal prison in Milan, Mich., to U.S. District Court in Detroit. He was to be questioned by Norman Yatooma, lawyer for Tamara Greene's three children.

Yatooma questioned Kilpatrick for several hours July 29 and the deposition was to wrap up Tuesday. Greene's family says Kilpatrick stifled an investigation into her still-unsolved fatal shooting in 2003. He denies it. Greene is rumored to have performed at a private party at Detroit's mayoral mansion.

Kilpatrick's wife Carlita and father Bernard are expected to give depositions Thursday in Texas.
