MT. MORRIS TWP. (AP) -- A convenience store manager says police came and reviewed surveillance video as part of an investigation into a multistate stabbing spree concentrated in the Flint area.
Abdulla Farrah of the Kingwater Market in Genesee County's Mount Morris Township said Thursday a man who worked in his store for about a month said he was leaving Aug. 1 to see some relatives and hasn't returned. Police came to the store Wednesday morning.
Authorities have arrested a man in Atlanta in connection with a string of stabbings that left five men dead and wounded more than a dozen in Michigan, Virginia and Ohio.
Farrah says the man who worked at his store and police inquired about drove a vehicle that matched a description and video released by authorities.
