The I-75 northbound express lane, located on the southbound lanes, will be completely closed to traffic on Tuesday.
Work on I-75 at M-84, through Wednesday, has included pavement repairs in the shoulder areas and patching the roadway on the northbound inside lanes.
Beginning Wednesday, crews will shift northbound I-75 traffic to the inside lines in order to begin reconstruction work on the outside lanes.
Set up work for the shift will begin early Wednesday morning. During set up, northbound I-75 traffic will be shifted to run on the express lane, I-75 northbound express lane, located on the southbound lanes. One lane (express lane) will be open to northbound traffic during the set up phase, which is expected to be completed by noon, at which time the traffic shift will occur.
Work continues on I-75 over the Squaconnning and Dutch creeks.
The M-84 bridge over Dutch Creek remains closed with traffic detoured.
Construction work on the road leading to the Dutch Creek bridge is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, before the school year begins. The bridge will re-open soon after.
One lane across the M-84 bridge over Squaconning Creek remains open to traffic.
The current traffic detour will remain in place to accommodate ongoing bridge work. M-84 traffic is detoured to Three Mile Road, to Hotchkiss Road, then back to M-84.
Three northbound and southbound I-75 lanes will be maintained.
One lane will remain closed on northbound and southbound I-75 from Crane Road north to Hotchkiss Road to accommodate ongoing work.
