The Michigan Department of Agriculture is asking you to use caution when consuming eggs.  This as a nationwide egg recall continues to grow.

More than a thousand people have been sickened with salmonella.  Investigators believe tainted eggs made them sick.

Two Iowa egg farms have announced recalls.

Iowa’s Wright County Egg recalled 380 million eggs earlier this week.

Iowa’s Hillandale Farms then recalled 170 million eggs after laboratory tests confirmed they were contaminated with salmonella.

The Michigan Department of Agriculture recommends concerned consumers check this list of brands recalled before consuming eggs.
