Update: Steve Paul Hladik, a 34-year-old male from Harrison, was arraigned this afternoon and has been charged with:
Criminal Sexual Conduct -1st degree (Felony—life in prison); Criminal Sexual Conduct-3rd degree (Felony—15 years in prison); Home Invasion-1st degree (Felony—20 years and/or $5,000 fine); and Domestic Violence-2nd offense (Misdemeanor—1 year and/or $1,000 fine).
Hladik remains lodged in the Isabella County Jail. His bond is $250,000.
The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a 34-year-old Harrison man for Criminal Sexual Conduct - 1st Degree and Home Invasion.
The man, whose name won't be released until after an arraignment later today was arrested Wednesday at 11:55 a.m. in Isabella County's Coe Township.
The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence where a sexual assault had occurred. The man entered the residence through a locked door and then, using force, sexually assaulted a female that had been home alone. The two had a previous dating relationship, but were no longer dating.
The individual was located and arrested in the City of Clare Wednesday afternoon.
