Local authorities arrest and charge two men accused breaking into 19 buildings and vehicles for allegedly stealing electronics, prescription drugs, and cash.

Tuesday afternoon, a Saginaw County judge arraigned 19-year-old Matthew Ronan of Freeland and 18- year-old Jacob Seegmiller of Hemlock.

Sheriff deputies say the two began stealing items in March.

They say the suspects stole $8,200 worth of cash and items.

The sheriff says he doesn't want these people out on the street any time soon.

Saginaw County Sheriff William Federspiel says, "We have no control over what the State of Michigan does as far as let people out early or on good behavior, but what we do have in our control is whether we charge them with a misdemeanor, whether we charge them with one felony, or whether we charge them with criminal enterprise, which is a 20 year felony."

The sheriff says all of the property has been returned to the rightful owners.

The investigation included Gratiot and Midland Counties as well.
