Students find out what it's like to drink and drive.

A simulator shows drivers the delayed reaction time of those who've had too much to drink.

Students at the University of Michigan Flint found out first hand the dangers of driving drunk.

Jan Griffith from Stop Loss says, "Whenever you have any amount of alcohol in your system, your reaction time is delayed and you can't respond to traffic situations as quickly as you can when your sober."

Sophomore Dre Leslie says, "My reaction was way off. normally i'm a great driver, but this time i couldn't even stay on the road."

Michigan's blood alcohol content law is .08.

First-time offenders face 93-days in jail, a $500 fine, and up to 360 hours of community service.
