(AP) -- The Henry Ford is getting ready to kick off its "Fall Flavor Weekends" with a variety of food-themed events. The first features activities Saturday and Sunday at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, and the others are Sept. 24-26 and Oct. 2-3. Visitors will be able to experience the sights, smells and flavors of the autumn harvest.
There will be cooking demonstrations in Greenfield Village's historic homes featuring different seasonally inspired recipes. Food being cooked will be specific to each home's original region and time period.
A fall farmers market is Sept. 25 and Oct. 2. Details of events from "Fall Flavor Weekends" are on the website of The Henry Ford.
