Fire has claimed a Mid-Michigan woman's life.
Crews began battling the flames at the home on the 3700 block of Lynn Street in Flint around 2:30 Tuesday morning.
The fire appeared to start in the kitchen or living area.
Officials found the woman in her bedroom. They believed she died of smoke-inhalation and burns from the temperature of the air in the home.
The arson squad is working to determine the cause.
