FLINT -- Art Van Furniture Company is awarding $20,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint through the Art Van Million Dollar Charity Challenge. The award is among those presented to 50 charities throughout the state of Michigan.
Art Van Furniture annually awards one million dollars to various charities throughout the State of Michigan that focus on children, health and human services. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint is grateful for the critical financial support and commitment of Art Van.

The focus of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint is to provide children, primarily from single parent homes, with the friendship of a positive role model. For 66 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been impacting thousands of children in Genesee County through its mentoring outreach and support. Fundraising and mentor recruitment endeavors ensure the increased capacity of the organization to respond to needs in the community.
