LINCOLN TWP. -- A woman and child are dead after a car crash.
37 year old Brandy Boggs was driving west on Saginaw Road near Hope Road in Lincoln Township around 7:20 pm Monday when her pickup truck went off the road. She then crashed into a business sign, hit a fence, and the car finally smashed into a pine tree.
Boggs was taken to Mid Michigan Medical Center where she died.
Her 8 year old son, Jacob Ordiway was taken to Mid Michigan Medical Center then flown to Hurley Hospital in Flint where he died.
Sheriff’s officials are investigating what caused the crash.
