(AP) -- Authorities say a 31-year-old hunter has died after falling out of a tree stand about 20 feet above the ground in Oakland County. Michigan State Police tell The Oakland Press of Pontiac that the man fell on Tuesday afternoon in Holly Township, about 40 miles northwest of Detroit. Fellow hunters found him at the base of the tree.
The Pontiac man's name wasn't immediately released. Police say foul play isn't suspected, but an investigation was ongoing.
