A new, local partnership is stirring excitement for several Michigan automotive manufacturers.

Android Industries held an open house at one of its Flint facilities to announce its cooperation with the Vehicle Production Group and the Henkel Corporation.

Together, they'll produce environmentally friendly rust-proof coatings for vehicles.

"We have the facility," said Android Chairman Richard Niazy. "We're trying to get some more work. Our plan is to fill this facility."

Officials hope with Flint's skilled workforce, additional jobs will be coming soon.
