Brooke Johnson is the NBC25 Great Kid of the Month for November. Brooke is 13 years old and is an 8th grader at Hale Area Schools.
Brooke keep busy by playing the saxophone in her school band, is a cheerleader for the 8th grade cheer team, she also plays basketball, soccer and is thinking about joining the volleyball team.
Brooke is also a great help around her family's farm. She's been riding horses since the age of three and has won a great deal of awards and ribbons.
Brooke says she misses her dad who is serving over seas in Afghanistan. Her has been over seas since October and is due back home in July. She thinks of her dad as her hero.
