BAY CITY -- A former Millington High School football coach has pleaded guilty to a drunk driving charge.
Bay City Police arrested 45 year old Roger Bearss in July for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and going the wrong way on a one-way street.
The Bay County District Court reports Bearss pleaded guilty to first degree driving while impaired Wednesday. The other two charges against him were dropped in exchange.
He was sentenced to thirty days in jail with credit for one day served, and twenty-six days deferred. He will also be on probation for twelve months.
