SAGINAW TWP. -- A maintenance worker at the Olive Tree Apartment Complex in Saginaw Township found what appeared to be a pipe-bomb around 9:00 Friday morning.
Police secured the area, and found a 12-inch pipe with two end-caps. Bomb squad technicians opened it and found an unknown leafy substance, which may be some type of herb or spices.
Crews determined it was not dangerous.
