SAGINAW -- Saginaw Police tell NBC25 they have a suspect in custody in connection to the city's first homicide of the year.

Around 2:50 pm Sunday, the body of Jay Allen Kolhoff was found at an apartment on the 700 block of South Bond Street.

Police say the victim had been arguing with his neighbor when the shooting happened.  The neighbor has been arrested and is being held in the county jail.  He is expected to be charged as early as Tuesday.  His name is not being released until he is arraigned.
