BAY CITY -- Just two days after fire crews rescued a person from a burning home, the house caught fire again.

Around 3 a.m. Tuesday, crews doused flames at a home on the 1300 block of Erie Street in Bay City.  This time no one was home, but that wasn't the case at the same house earlier this week.

Sunday, a 17-year-old male crawled out of a second story bedroom window and onto the roof of the front porch roof to escape a fire.  Fire crews were able to rescue him. He was taken by ambulance to Bay Medical Center for evaluation. He's currently in good condition.

The fire marshal is examining the scene to see what caused the two incidents.
