The Lapeer County prosecutor says charges are expected in last Friday's incident with a gunman.
Police say, the 43-year-old's wife called them and said he wanted to kill himself.
Police talked him out of the home where he put a gun under his chin and walked down the middle of the street yelling for officers to shoot him.
Eventually, an officer Tasered him.
The prosecutor says the man will likely be charged with resisting and obstructing, which is a two year felony.
He may also be charged with a misdemeanor of showing a weapon.
