Saginaw--It seemed like a line-up for Black Friday discounts outside a local library this morning, but they were actually in line for free tax help.
Dozens of people packed Saginaw's Butman-Fish Library for free tax preparation courtesy of the United Way.
The program helps low-income families and seniors.
The coordinator says for many it's their only way of getting their taxes done.
"They're so happy. They're just thrilled to death because they could pay an arm and a leg. Some places make you pay by the form so if you have four forms, it would cost you $80," says coordinator Barb Watkowski.
Around 2,000 people are helped every year in Saginaw County by the program.
There are eight Saginaw County locations.
