A Bay City substitute teacher is charged with sex crimes after allegations of inappropriate relationships with at least three Bay City Central High School students.
School district officials say the relationships took place over summer and not on school grounds.
Superintendent Douglas Newcombe made a statement over the phone to NBC25 saying quote:
"We learned of this on Friday and we're very disturbed by it. We immediately turned it over to the police and have been working with police to get to the bottom of the investigation."
The Bay City Times reports the 41-year-old Midland woman was released after posting $100,000 bond.
She is expected in court to be officially charged February 14th.
