Troopers at the Michigan State Police Bay City Post are investigating what caused an accident that killed two young Bay City women.
It happened Saturday night at 10:34 p.m. according to a police press release. Two vehicles crashed on M-20 near the 5-Mile Road in Midland County’s Homer Township.
Police say Emilee Anne Prime and Danette Marie DeCorte died from injuries they received in the crash.
The Bay City Times reports they are both 20-years-old and graduated from Central High School in 2009.
The article says DeCorte was studying at Saginaw Valley State University, and Prime was studying at Delta College.
Police say autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
