NBC25 showed you the shocking video Sunday of two Mott Adult High School students fighting on Fenton Road.  Andrew Bancroft found it posted on YouTube after undergoing surgery required after the fight.  In the video it appears Bancroft is not defending himself as D'Markus Jones fights him.  Bancroft told NBC25 he didn't fight back because he didn't want to get in trouble with his school's no-tolerance policy on fighting.

YouTube took removed the video titled D'Markus beats white boy shortly after our story aired.

Many viewers have asked whether we showed the whole story with the clips we chose, and e-mailed us asking NBC25 to post the video taken down from YouTube.   We have posted the entire clip above.  We warn you it contains violence and graphic language.

We do not know for certain what happened before this camera started rolling.

We do know this is not the first fight between the boys.  Andrew Bancroft says the first fight started when D'Markus Jones wanted his sunglasses and he refused to hand them over.  Jones says the first fight started when Bancroft bullied him and called him names.  Both boys were suspended from school for this fight.

While on suspension, Jones says a friend called him and told him Bancroft wanted revenge and was getting of the bus near his house.  Bancroft says he was simply going to the Family Dollar near Jones' house.  Jones and his relatives say they saw Bancroft near the Family Dollar and confronted him.

NBC25 asked Jones and his adult relatives why they would go confront him.   Adults said it is about respect.

“He came looking for trouble.  You look for trouble, you get things that you want,” said Timothy Gregory, a relative of Jones.

Gregory says he, other adults, and Jones took matters into their own hands because there are no reliable police services in Flint.

"You either defend yourself, or you get hurt."

We want to know what you think about this fight.  Do you blame one of the boys? Do you hold the adults watching in the background accountable?    Leave your comments below.
