Police say drugs and robbery the motives
GRAND BLANC -- 4:40 p.m. Friday
Police say drugs and robbery were the motives behind Thursday’s murder in Grand Blanc.
The crime happened at Grand Oaks Apartments around 10:30 a.m.
Police say 47-year-old Jeanne Hank was strangled to death at her apartment.
The suspects are 26-year-old Lorenzo Relerford and 26-year-old Dantoine Brown.
They were picked up by police driving Hank's car on Pasadena and MLK in Flint.
Police say the suspects are drug dealers and had a relationship with Hank.
"The victim in this case is a sister of one of my deputies, and drugs kill families, and this family has suffered greatly with the drug problem that this girl has had for a number of years," said Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell.
A third person was questioned in this murder case.
The police chief says he is not connected, but was arraigned on an unrelated warrant.

UPDATE: 9:45 p.m. Thursday
Two men are charged with open murder after a woman's body is found at her apartment in Grand Blanc.
Police say shortly before 11:30 Thursday morning they responded to Grand Oaks Apartments on Grand Oak Road.
Police say 47-year-old Jeanne Hank was found dead at her apartment by a family member.
Grand Blanc Police Chief Steven Solomon tells NBC25, Hank's car was not at her residence and tracked it to Pasadena and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Flint.
Two suspects were in the car.
They are being held at the Genesee County Jail.
Chief Solomon says another person of interest is being questioned after he was picked up on Prospect Street in Flint for an un-related outstanding warrant.

Right now two men are being questioned by police in connection to a suspicious death in Grand Blanc.
Police say shortly before 11:30 Thursday morning they responded to Grand Oaks Apartments on Grand Oak Road.
A 47 year old woman was found not breathing at her apartment by a family member.
Grand Blanc Police Chief Steven Solomon tells NBC25 a detective was called in who ruled her death as suspicious.
Police found the woman's car was not at her residence and tracked it to Pasadena and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Flint.
Two men were in the car.
As of right now, no charges have been filed.
Police say the woman lived alone.
Her identity is not being released at this time.
Her vehicle was impounded.
A press conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at the Grand Blanc Police Department.
