Flint Police say they are still searching for the shooter who killed a woman in Flint early Sunday morning.
Police tell NBC25 someone called 911 around four a.m. reporting gunshots. Police soon found forty year old Leann Bates dead at 510 E. Lorado Avenue.
Bates was the second woman killed Sunday in Flint. Police say Janita Clarice Martin-Ross’ husband shot and killed her after a fight at their home on Welch Street just after midnight. Police arrested her husband after a short standoff.
Police are asking anyone with information that could help them find the person who killed Bates to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-5245, or the Flint Police department at 810-237-6801.
