A dog grooming business in Saginaw is asking for your help saving animals in need this Thursday and Friday.
The owner of Shear Canine says she is going to give all profits made on April 14th and 15th to the Friends of the Saginaw County Animal Shelter.
"Please call in advance for appointment," said Lynne McMahon. "We also have a jar. If you make a donation to the Friends of Saginaw County you can put your name in for a free grooming."
McMahon says the business will also offer a free nail trim to anyone who brings in an item listed on the shelter's wish list.
Items needed include:
Purina Kitten Chow, Purina Cat Chow, "Special kitty" clumping cat litter, Canned Cat food (ground not flaked or bites), toy mice, toy bells, small play toys, Purina Puppy Chow, Purina Dog Chow, canned puppy food, Milk Bone dog biscuits, peanut butter, dog collars, leashes, miniature dog harnesses, Kong toys, laundry detergent, bleach, dishwashing liquid, antibacterial hand soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, 55 gallon drum liner trash bags, trash bags (kitchen size 13 gallon), black or blue pens, post-it-notes, copy paper, Kodak black #10 toner cartridges, Wal-Mart gift cards, and Pet Supplies Plus gift cards.
