NBC25 has learned a former Miss Michigan USA is lodged in the Genesee County Jail.
Deputies at the Genesee County Jail confirm former Miss Michigan USA Kenya Bell was booked there Sunday.
They are not releasing why she is being held there, because she is not yet charged with any crime.
Kenya Bell is married to Charlie Bell, who currently plays with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors. The couple owns a home in the Grand Blanc area.
Just over a year ago the couple was featured in “Basketball Wives: The E! True Hollywood Story.”
Charlie Bell graduated from Flint Southwestern Academy, and played basketball at Michigan State University. He was part of MSU’s championship team in 2000.
