May 5th is National Day of Prayer.
As the world watches the war on terror in the Middle East in light of Osama Bin Laden’s death, the turmoil developing in Japan, and the economic crisis, thousands of Mid-Michigan residents are asking God for help.
Here’s a look at just a few of the National Day of Prayer events going on throughout the day in Mid-Michigan:
Flushing:
* Come and go Prayer at Mayfair Bible Church (5339 W. Pierson Rd.)- 8am–8pm
* Community Prayer Gathering- Riverview Park Bandshell- noon
Davison:
* 12-hour prayer vigil at Trinity Lutheran Church (706 W. Flint St.) - 6am – 6pm
Clio:
Clio Fire Hall National Day of Prayer – 12:15 p.m.
Midland:
Midland Co. National Day of Prayer (301 W. Main St.) – noon
Saginaw:
Saginaw Township observance of the National Day of Prayer. (Saginaw Township Hall 4980 Shattuck Road).- noon
