SAGINAW CO. -- Police are on the lookout for a possible kidnapping suspect, after a 13-year-old Saginaw County girl was nearly kidnapped.
Richland Township Police say the young teen was approached Friday around 3:00 p.m. while she was walking from her bus stop to her home.
The man spoke to her, but she continued walking toward her house. He then drove away from the scene.
A sketch of the suspect is pictured on this story. The vehicle he was driving is described as a 2-door black Ford F-250 with tinted windows, an extended cab.
Anyone with information on the suspect or vehicle is asked to call police at 989-642-5707.
Authorities are also reminding parents, schools, and children to be on the alert. If a stranger approaches a child, they are advised to escape the situation, and call 911 immediately.
