Clare Trolley offers free rides to help cope with gas prices

CLARE -- If gas prices are too high, and you need a ride in Clare County, the trolley might be your answer.

Cops and Doughnuts” sent out a press release, stating that beginning Saturday May 21st watch, Clare Trolley will run FREE of charge to all riders on Saturdays from 10am - 6pm. Thursday afternoon/evenings will be added starting June 16th.

The Thursday shift will coincide with the Farm & Arts Market and Summer Concert Series, all Under the Water Tower in Downtown Clare. Stops will include Jays Sporting Goods, McEwan Street stops at Carousal Mall, Schoolcrest Street, 300, 400 & 500 blocks in the heart of downtown, East Fifth St municipal parking lot and Clare Castle.

All you need to do is get to a Trolley Stop location and jump on for FREE. No gas on your part to move around Clare this summer.

The Trolley is being provided as a group effort with ALL Clare businesses, Clare Main Street, Clare Chamber, City of Clare and CCTC(Clare County Transit).
