"Party Armor" supplement aims to launch internationally
DAVISON -- Update: June 17th, 9:45 a.m.
Some viewers have asked NBC25 if this product encourages binge drinking. While the product is designed to cure a hangover, the bottle does warn that it, "will not prevent intoxication and is not intended to treat or prevent the consequences of excessive alcohol consumption. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. Do not drink alcohol if you are pregnant or nursing. Consult a physician if you believe you may have dependency on alcohol. Results may vary."

Waking up the next day after a long night of partying can be no fun.
“Obviously on your 21st birthday, you probably drink a little more,” said Jackie Morse, a Party Armor user.
That’s what prompted 22-year-old Curtis Thorsby to come up with a hangover cure called Party Armor.
"I'd like to be known as the number one hangover remedy in the world," said Curtis Thorsby, Founder of Party Armor.
Curtis became interested in dietary supplements while powerlifting in high school. He wanted to use his knowledge to help Central Michigan University students with their social life.
“The energy shots are really popular, and I knew that they're simple, and they're convenient, and that's the biggest thing about Party Armor,” Curtis said. “You just take a two-ounce shot and you’re good to go.”
He only planned on making a home remedy for himself, aware of the benefits but not knowing how well it’d actually work.
“Being in college, you kind of see that there’s a demand for a product like this, so I decided to develop a supplement of my own.”
Party Armor is made of mostly vitamins that replenish the body after a night of drinking. So how does it work? There are 18 crucial ingredients in the mix.
"It utilizes your body's natural healing time, which is when you sleep and what it does, is it supplies your body with the key nutrients and detoxifiers to get rid of the toxins in your liver, your blood, and your brain," Curtis said.
Joie Jaruzel, a Party Armor user, swears party armor has saved her after a night of drinking.
"I've had a bachelorette party that I went to and we had a party bus and it was pretty crazy and the next morning I was still able to go to work,” Jaruzel said.
Curtis’ 25-year-old brother Cason tried it out and quickly became a believer too.
"Waking up the next morning and feeling better than I ever have, definitely made me believe in the product demand," Cason said.
Now the brothers are selling their product at local convenience stores across Mid-Michigan.
"Once we knew we had something, that's when we started consulting with pharmacists,” Curtis said.
The Thorsby brothers hope to launch their product internationally in the near future.
