Do you think this will help officials better handle medical marijuana cases, or do you think it will over-regulate?
LANSING -- Republican leaders want to clarify Michigan’s Medical Marijuana law.
The Associated Press reports, the proposed changes would require more in-depth doctor / patient meetings and studies before a patient could get a Medical Marijuana card.
Under the new measures, legislators could also reduce the number of dispensaries around the state.
The law, which was enacted in 2008, has raised much controversy. Some feel the wording is too vague, while others argue the government has over-regulated the plant.
How do you feel about the plan to clarify the law? Do you think this will help officials better handle medical marijuana cases, or do you think it will over-regulate? Vote on our poll and leave us your comments.
