Michigan woman could be jailed for planting a garden

An Oak Park, Michigan, woman faces 93 days in jail for planting a vegetable garden.

The website TreeHugger.com reports Julie Bass' garden is not in compliance with the city's ordinance.

The homeowner says she planted a garden after her front yard was torn up for sewer repairs.

Bass is a mother of six.

Her trial is set for July 26th.
