A motorcyclist dies during a charity event.
It happened Saturday afternoon around 1:00 on Imlay City Road, west of Summers Road in Lapeer County's Attica Township.
Sheriff deputies say 65-year-old Leland Kinder of Ferndale was riding a 1988 Harley Davidson in a group of about 20 other motorcyclists traveling east on Imlay City Road.
His bike left the road on the south side, went into a field, and threw him off.
Kinder was unresponsive at the scene and died at the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
