Richfield Township Police have confirmed that the body found on Friday was that of 48-year-old Larry Major.

The Michigan State Police crime lab are assisting Richfield Township Police with the case.

Neighbors say the body was found near Gale and Frances Roads and that police were on the scene Friday.

An investigation is on-going.
