There's a sad story out of Saginaw County's Thomas Township.

An accident kills two people and sends another to the hospital.

It happened around 4:15 Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Gratiot Road (M-46) and Kennely Road.

Police say a south-bound vehicle driven by 90-year-old Chester Stocklosa failed to yield the right of way to a westbound vehicle driven by 81-year-old Rose Parrish.

Both drivers died at the scene.

A passenger, 81-year-old Doris Stocklosa was taken to Covenant with non-life threatening injuries.
