Davontral Coleman is accused of shooting a 10-year-old girl in the head.
SAGINAW -- A jury is deciding the fate of an 18-year-old man, who is accused of shooting a 10-year-old child in the head when he open fired in Saginaw.
Davontral Coleman allegedly shot then 10-year-old Jewel Lee and fired at others on September 5, 2009. Coleman was 16-years-old at the time of the crime, but was charged as an adult.
The trial began Tuesday. The Associated Press reports Lee testified against Coleman during the trial. According to the A.P., Coleman’s attorney says there are issues with the evidence. The jury began deliberating in the case Friday.
